Weekly Blogs

24th March 2017

Goodness what a week!  We were all so very sad to hear and read about events in London this week and our thoughts went out to the families involved.  However, we intend to ‘carry on as normal’ as well as being extra vigilant; there’s no doubt that our school community knows how to ‘pull together.’   We also thank you for your support with the school closure as a result of the break-in;  it was not an easy decision to make. Mr Nash had a big clearing up job.  Please tell a member of staff if you spot any broken glass anywhere; we have done our best but it spread everywhere.

Y6 are off to PGL next week and they go with our best wishes for dry, sunny weather!  We will keep Y6 parents informed of all the good times they are having.

Thanks to Mrs Durrant-Patel for setting up the Just Giving page for Red Nose Day!  We have already beaten our target!  Many thanks to all of you who have donated and bought a red nose.  Once again, we sold out!

Please remember that we close at 2.00pm on the last day of term and the staff can go off a little early for a well deserved rest!
